Why We Started The Site
In a nutshell, we created Fixed on Local for two reasons: to feature amazing, little known service providers and provide a helpful list of all the best local service companies and professionals in an industry sorted by their rank.More About Fixed on Local
How We Got Started
Fixed on Local was started by a group of service industry professionals who found it wasn’t always easy to figure out who was the best professional or company in each profession in each city or community. To try and figure this out, you have to look through a lot of reviews on many different review sites plus look behind the scenes to see who had been reprimanded by regulatory officials for unprofessional or unethical behaviour. There’s a lot of information to gather and digest. We felt we could make the world a better place by gathering all this information on one website and ranking the top performing companies.
While doing this, we also discovered that there are some amazing service providers in every city who do great work but remain rather hidden because they don’t promote themselves as much as some of their competitors. So we thought we should create a website that does two things: it lets people know who the best service providers are in their city and their community are, and it showcases some of the lesser known great service providers.
